DIVIDENDS OF DEMOCRACY: BUNMI TUNJI-OJO DONATES VEHICLES TO HOSPITAL AND TRADITIONAL INSTITUTION
A member House of Representatives representing Akoko North East/North West Federal Constituency, Hon. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo fondly called BTO, has brought dividends of democracy to his Constituency. This to him, is a part of fulfilment of his electoral promises to the constituents.
Hon. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo is the Chairman House Committee on NDDC at the Green Chamber.
The federal lawmaker has demonstrated to the people the kind of leadership traits he possesses. His full dedication and commitment to ensuring improvement in the living standards of his people can never attract eraser. Most importantly, the Lawmaker has severally expressed his readiness to better the life of the people by having access to quality health care.
In partial fulfilment of his promises, he had donated some materials to the health sector in his Constituency. These include generating set, mattress, chairs, tables, motorcycles, cabinets, Ambulances amongst others.
While addressing the people, the lawmaker vowed that what he was donating to the people would be the least he would do for the constituency.
”I am committed to effective service delivery, and, what I am doing today will be the least of what I can for my constituency”.
Two Ambulances were donated to the Health Centers in both Akoko North East and North West local governments. Also, the Lawmaker donated a bus for the traditional rulers in both Akoko North East and Akoko North West local governments where he represents. The bus was donated purposely to easy the movement of the traditional council members from one place to another.
The 18-sitter hummer bus was received by the Olukare of Ikare Kingdom, HRM, Oba Akadiri Momoh, who represented the Obas.
In his remark, the Kabiyesi thanked Hon. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo for fulfilling his promises and living beyond expectations to the people.
According to him, ”our people have never witnessed this kind of employment in Akoko land since the inception of Democratic rule”.
“The man has proved to us that he is a man of his word and we will not disappoint him any time he needs our support”. Kabiyesi said.
