ILAJE/ESE-ODO 2023: DONALD OJOGO MUST BE REWARDED AS CONSENSUS CANDIDATE FOR HIS TOTAL LOYALTY & COMMITMENT TO THE APC – GROUP
A group – Ilaje and Ese-Odo Youth Initiative Movement (IEYIM), has called on the leadership of the APC in both Ilaje and Ese-Odo local governments to consider Hon. Donald Ojogo, Commissioner for Information in Ondo State as the consensus candidate for the Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency.
The Coordinator of the group, Comrade Niyi Majofodun made this appeal yesterday Friday 28th January, 2022 in Akure, Ondo State capital while addressing newsmen. He said, the leadership of the APC in Ilaje and Ese-Odo local governments in conjunction with the state should consider Ojogo as consensus candidate for the party in Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency.
He also urged the leaders in both local and state to look at the steadfastness of Ojogo and his total loyalty and commitment to the Governor and APC to consider him as consensus candidate of the party, stressing that the hardworking spirit of Ojogo in the party is outstanding and exceptional.
Majofodun while speaking, described Donald Ojogo as a man of impregnable integrity and ingenuity. He further stressed that Ojogo has served the party, APC with all sense of modesty, humility and obedience to the party’s leadership.
“Ojogo is an embodiment of loyalty and humility, a faithful and sincere politician who does not betray the course of his leaders and party’s agenda, a man who have uncontrollable passion for the development of his people and environment, a credible, reliable and trustworthy personality who can be entrusted with the mandate of Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
He noted that Ojogo had opportunity to defect with the former Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Agboola Ajayi but he remained steadfast in defending the course of the party.
“The test of responsible leadership manifests when a man dispenses qualities at critical periods. Donald Ojogo deployed resources to keep the APC afloat when some forces intentionally wanted to cripple the party ahead of the 2020 Governorship primary. Success was the story amid attacks against his personality”.
Majofodun opines that Ojogo should be rewarded being a faithful servant of the party.
“He should be rewarded base on his loyalty, steadfastness and hardworking spirit for the party and his track record of outstanding performance as Commissioner for information in Ondo State.
