The people of Oke-Igbo community where Mathew Oyerinmade (MATO) hails from has declared last Sunday a gala night after the declaration of his senatorial ambition at the APC party Secretariat in Oke-Igbo.
MATO who is a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a leading aspirant for the Ondo Southern Senatorial District under the platform of the APC in the forthcoming 2023 general elections, declared his Senatorial ambition to run for the Ondo South Senatorial seat under the platform of the APC.
At the local government declaration held yesterday, Sunday 6th February, 2022, Oke-Igbo people came out en masse to welcome the aspirant in a meritorious way. In the same vein, his supporters across the senatorial district trooped out to pledge their total loyalties and commitments.
While declaring the programme open, the leadership of the APC in Oke-Igbo community called on Pa Fapohunda to give him (MATO) a traditional prayers. While praying, Pa Fapohunda declared him winner not only at the primary level but also at the general elections.
While addressing, Mathew Oyerinmade appreciated the people for their total support and promised not to let them down. He also assured the people to be responsive and answerable to them at all times.
He finally commended the road Infrastructural development of the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN and appealed to the people to keep faith with him in taking Ondo State from mono economic development to multi economic dimension.
The leadership of the APC in Okeigbo assured their total support for the aspirant and equally assured hin of their massive votes for him at the primary.
Some of the notable leaders who followed the aspirants were: Mr. Nelson Omoyoloye (Oil & Gas Business Guru), Prince Nomiye Adegbenro, former Chairman of Ilaje Local Government, Rt. Hon. Coker Malachi, former Speaker, Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Afolabi Iwalewa, former Member Ondo State House of Assembly representing Irele Local Government, Comrade Segun Odidi, former AD Gubernatorial Aspirant in Ondo State, Mr. Sunday Borire, Mr. Dobra – UNAD Alumni president, Hon. Desmond Iwajomo, SA on Niger Delta to the Chairman House Committee on NDDC, Hon. Femi Oloyede, Hon. Oladipupo Aretolu, Mrs. Foluke Akindoyeyi.
Others were Mr. Adeyeye Atibani, Mr. Bisi Kenny Mr. Prince Dickson Okuntade, Mr. Femi Akinroyeje, leaders from all the six Local Governments of Ilaje, Ese-Odo, Okitipupa, Irele, Odigbo and Ile-oluji-Okeigbo, leaders of different groups and associations etc
