ONDO 2024: OKEIGBO APC STAKEHOLDERS TAKE UNANIMOUS DECISION, ENDORSE AIYEDATIWA’S CANDIDACY AS THEY DECLARE OKEIGBO FOR HIM
Ahead of the upcoming governorship primary election of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, leaders of the party in Okeigbo Community, Ile-oluji/Oke Igbo local government area of Ondo State, have endorsed and affirmed the candidacy of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa to get the ticket of the party and continue as Governor of the State beyond February 2025.
The endorsement was made during the APC Party stakeholders meeting held in Okeigbo yesterday, where Mr. Wole Oyemakinde from Okeigbo Ward 2 moved a motion for endorsement and seconded by Mr. Bayo Mayokun.
An elder stateman and APC foremost leader in Okeigbo, Chief Nathaniel Taiwo Fapohunda while giving his opening remarks, reposed confidence in the ability and capacity of Governor Aiyedatiwa, noting that Aiyedatiwa’s visionary ideas will enhance productivity and economic development in Ondo State.
He reiterated in his statement that Aiyedatiwa’s oppositions have no root in Okeigbo.
The ward Chairmen, Excos, Unit chairmen, Leaders, Critical stakeholders, and other party faithfuls of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the community converged at the Oluoke palace hall on Sunday 17th March 2024 to publicly endorse HE Lucky Aiyedatiwa as their preferred candidate ahead of the party’s primary election in April 2024.
A political leader and former Chairman of Ondo State Waste Management Authority, Hon. Shina Fadamitan said, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa is the right man, a man in God’s heart to take Ondo state to the next level.
Hon. Fadamitan expressed his confidence in the ability of Governor Aiyedatiwa to move the State forward, urging the people of Okeigbo to support his aspiration with all sincerity.
Fadamitan said, Under Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership, we have seen tangible improvements in infrastructural development, healthcare and opportunities for the youth.
Hon. Fadamitan at the event stressed that the common interest of communities people can only be protected and promoted by electing of Governor Aiyedatiwa for another 4 years.
In the same manner, Chief (Mrs.) Rebecca Adeoyin, confirmed that the endorsement was done wholeheartedly by the people following the track record of Governor m Aiyedatiwa.
Chief Mrs. Adeoyin who was a former Chairman of Ileoluji/Okeigbo Local Government, expressed her confidence in the ability of Governor Aiyedatiwa to rapidly move the State forward, urging the people of Okeigbo to take the project serious and wok assiduously for the emergence of Governor Aiyedatiwa at the primary election.
The former council boss uged other local government areas of Ondo state to replicate same gesture across the 18 local governments
At the meeting, all the APC stakeholders unanimously endorsed the candidacy of HE Lucky Aiyedatiwa and declare Okeigbo for him
