Fomer General Secretary NUPSRAW, an Affiliate of NLC, Comrade Balogun Omolere, has congratulated the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on his emergence as the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the November 16 Ondo gubernitorial election, stressed that Aiyedatiwa’s emergence is a big deal and renewed hope for the workers of Ondo State.
An Ilaje-born Unionist to the core also congratulated Ilaje people, being the first time in the history of Ondo State that Ilaje man will become the governor.
In his congratulatory message, Comrade Balogun said, Governor Aiyedatiwa’s emergence as the flag-bearer of the APC represents the collective wish of the vast majority of members of the party, adding that the former Deputy Governor of Ondo State has proven his dedication and competence to lead the state at such an important time in history.
“I’m so thrilled to hear that you reached your goal. You inspire by having such ambitious dreams, then putting in the hard work to achieve them.
“Congratulations on your incredible success! I always knew you could do it, and I’m incredibly proud of you.
“You overcame so many obstacles to achieve this win. Your perseverance and courage are inspiration and lesson to a destiny builder.
“I saw you work so hard every day to achieve this accomplishment, and I can’t think of anyone who deserves it more. You set an amazing example for everyone in Ilaje nation.”
The APC Chieftain, Comrade Balogun said that the victory was well deserved considering Aiyedatiwa’s contributions to the development of Ondo state and the party before he was elected the candidate of the party, urging him, however, to be magnanimous in victory in the interest of the people of the state.
