Ondo federal lawmaker, Ade Adeogun gives scholarship award, donates computer sets, exercise books to students
The lawmaker representing Akoko southeast/southwest federal constituency in Ondo state, Hon. Ade Adeogun has Presented three years tuition free scholarship for 200 Akoko students to study at upland College of Education, Ipesi, Akoko. He also gave Scholarship to another set of 200 students of the federal constituency in different tertiary institutions.
While addressing at the presentation ceremony held at Oka town hall recently, Hon. Adeogun said the three years scholarship award would cover the period of National Certificate in Education, NCE, at the institution.
In related development, he distributed exercise books and text books to all schools in the federal constituency, stressing that the gesture is one of his numerous human capital development initiatives for the constituents.
Furthermore, he Distributed computer sets to selected schools in the federal constituency.
Ondo state Governor, Arakuntin Rotimi Akeredolu, who was a guest at the events, commissioned Awolowo Road in Oba Akoko and Agba bridge in Oka Akoko which were facilitated and build by the Federal lawmaker.
The Governor who was represented by the Secretary to the state government, Princess Oladunni Odu, described Adeogun as a special brand, with his various initiatives and projects he has facilitated for the constituents.
Akeredolu thanked Adeogun for delivering the dividends of Democracy to his people & adding value to the party.
The Olubaka of Oka Akoko, Oba Adeyori Adeleye, who was at the event appreciated Adeogun for his humanitarian gesture.
The beneficiaries and community leaders thanked Adeogun for counting them worthy and considered for the award.
