Ondo South Senatorial APC Primary: MATO group thanks Governor Akeredolu, Delegates, Leaders and other Faithfuls, Pledges Unalloyed Loyalty to the Party
The group in Ondo South Senatorial District of Ondo State under the leadership of Mr. Mathew Oyerinmade fondly called MATO, has expressed appreciation to the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu, Leaders of our great party and all the delegates that stood with him and his group in the just concluded senatorial Primary Election.
The group made this statement yesterday, Monday 30th May, 2022 after a holistic review of events before, during and after the primary election, and resolved that despite all shortcomings from the process “We will remain resolute and committed to the APC and its pragmatic ideals of progressiveness, the exercise should be seen as a victory for the APC family not to an individual”.
“To all the delegates who voted at the primary election, we appreciate your full participation, cooperation and support which has further paved way for the democratic credential of our great party, APC”.
“We specially thank those 92 delegates who defied the obvious leadership threat to make their ways to the primary venue to vote for our aspirant, Mathew Oyerinmade (MATO). Although, the outcome of the primary might not be favourable but we have fought an historic battle and history will be kind to all that stood firm in their quest towards charting a new course for our dear Ondo South Senatorial district .
