You have no root in Ondo State, that is why you are not concerned about the peace and progress of the land, APC chieftain, Adebayo lambasted Doyin Odebowale

An APC chieftain and Akure-born business management consultant cum politician, Hon. Lanre Tony Adebayo, has lambasted Dr. Doyin Odebowale over his arrogant, uncultured and uncivilised statement while replying the Ondo State Deputy Governor His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa over the apology statement issued to his boss, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, CON, on the prevailing crisis in the state.

Hon. Adebayo, in a release made available to Coastal Renaissance News, stated that Dr. Doyin Odebowale has no root in Ondo State; that is why he’s not concerned about the peaceful coexistence of the citizens, stating that it is more reason he’s not comfortable with the peace reconciliation move between Governor Akeredolu and his deputy, Aiyedatiwa.

Adebayo reiterated in his words that Odebowale lacks power, authority intergrity and competence to reply the press release issued by the Deputy Governor, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa, stressed that it is only the Governor that has the mandate to reply his Deputy through any of his Media Aides.

“It’s abuse of office and protocol for Doyin Adebowale as SSA to the Governor on Special Duties and Strategy to reply the Deputy Governor.

We, the people of Ondo State have noticed the arrogant manner at which Odebowale has been addressing the Deputy Governor of Ondo State when featured on the TV stations, radio stations even on social media, and discovered that if not quickly curtailed and stopped, it will collapse the dignity of our sunshine state.

“Considering the issues going on presently in Ondo State and the reaction of one Dr. Doyin Odebowale, SSA on Special Duties and Strategy to the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Odunayo Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON, I wish to call on the Governor and APC state chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin to call him to order.

Doyin Odebowale has no root in Ondo State, he’s an indigene of Remo in Ogun State, he only married our daughter in Ondo State, and he is not the only man that married to our daughters from Ondo State. It’s never a sin to give a daughter to a man, so, I see it as an aberration for Odebowale to be creating unrest crisis in the state with his statements. The people of Ondo State actually wish to know his interest and intention(s) about the impeachment saga, ill-health of the Governor Akeredolu, and why he is not comfortable with the reconciliation step between the governor and his deputy.

“It was never a mistake neither a sin for Governor Akeredolu to have appointed him as his aide from another state (Ogun State) knowing full well that Ondo State people are known to be large hearted, hospitality, loving and caring, however, Ondo State people will strongly resist any attempt by Doyin Odebowale to sabotage the dignity of our sunshine state. We shall never tolerate anybody that takes Ondo State for granted.”
