Your letter to President Tinubu is like a tale, told by idiots, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing, Save Ondo State Group blasts 5 Ondo House of Reps members
*RE-CRISIS LOOMS AS ONDO LAWMAKERS REPORT AYEDATIWA TO TINUBU.*
The Save Ondo State Group notes with dismay the attempt by some House of Representatives members from Ondo State to misinform President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and indeed the general public about the genuine efforts of Governor Lucky Ayedatiwa in promoting peace and cohesion within the State chapter of the All Progressives Congress and Ondo State at large.
Contrary to the wrong impression that these few lawmakers sought to create, Governor Ayedatiwa, since assuming office, has taken conscious steps to unite leaders and members of the Party across the eighteen Local Governments by convening a well-attended Stakeholders meeting which was moderated by the State Chairman, Engineer Ade Adetimehin who the purveyors of imaginary crisis claimed was being threatened by an apparently peace-loving Governor.
Ondo State has been enjoying a new lease of life after the timely intervention of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the avoidable crisis occasioned by the prolonged illness of our dear late Governor Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu and we all remain profoundly grateful for the statesmanship of Mr President.
Curiously, these misguided Lawmakers who appear bent on stoking fresh crisis couldn’t find their voices at the time when the state was inching towards the precipice but are now quick to shout wolf where there’s none.
We know for a fact that some of these Lawmakers are interested in contesting for the Governorship seat while some others want to be running mates to certain Aspirants but they ought to be properly guided to play their politics responsibly and desist henceforth from propagating blatant lies to score cheap political points.
We therefore advise them to contain their desperation and remember that power is given by God to whoever He chooses and not by devious machinations bordering on Machiavellian tendencies.
