Okitipupa & Irele 2023: Contest for House Representatives or lose your leadership value, followers threatened Olusegun Ayerin as he bows to pressure, declares ambition today
People of Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency have threatened Pastor Olusegun Ayerin, former Executive Chairman of Okitipupa Local Government, to contest the 2023 House of Representatives or lose his leadership value in Okitipupa and Irele Local Governments.
It was gathered by Coastal Renaissance news that all his followers across the two local governments were brutal with him in the last meeting organized by him (Pastor Olusegun Ayerin) on the account of not showing interest for the 2023 House of Representatives. They said, “the era of Baboons dey work, monkeys the chop is gone. This time around, we need a grassroot politician who can take care of party members, a tested and trusted leader like you (Olusegun Ayerin) to lead us again but if you refuse our demand, we will be forced to abandon you as our leader”.
No doubt, the leadership style of Olusegun Ayerin is well accepted by all and sundry, especially, Okitipupa and Irele Local Governments because of his keen interest to develop the people and the land. Therefore, he has always been seen by the people as a man who has uncontrollable passion for the development of Okitipupa and Irele Local Governments. When he was the Executive Chairman of Okitipupa Local Government, people often described him as man of the masses, hence, culminated to his leadership acceptance across Ikale land and beyond.
