ONDO 2024: APC Aborigines Converge in Akure, Agree To Work As A Team Ahead Of Governorship Primary
In preparation for the gubernatorial primary of the All Progressives Congress billed for April 2024 in Ondo State, aboriginal members of the party in the State have met in Akure to deliberate on salient issues of concern.
The meeting which was held at Ijapo Royal Bird Hotel was presided over by former Nigerian Ambassador to the Republic of Togo, H.E, Ambassador Sola Iji who was former Chairman of AD, AC and ACN successively.
At the meeting were, former Ondo North Senatorial Chairman of ACN, Chief S.A ldris; former Ondo North Senatorial Chairman of AC, Alhaji Isa Oloruntoba; former Ondo South Senatorial Chairman of ACN, Hon Wale Akintimehin; Otunba Kelly Agboola; former State Women Leader of AD, Chief (Mrs) Grace Animola; Pioneer State Secretary of APC, Hon Raman Rotimi; former State Women Leader of ACN, Hon. ( Mrs) Kehinde Adeniran; Deputy National Women Leader of ANPP, Mrs Fagbamiye Abimbola; former Chief of Staff to Governor Adefarati, Hon Foluso Aminu; former Executive Chairman of Ese-Odo Local Government, Hon(Mrs) Folawe Sipasi-Aluko, former Commissioner for Regional lntegration and Diaspora Relations, Prince Boye Ologbese and Hon. Ife Ajiwoye. Others were former State Executive Members and LG Party Chairmen including Hon. Jerome Olorunyolemi; Rotimi Agbede; Chief Abraham Adejimiroye; Hon. Ademulegun Adeala; Hon. Henry Olatuja; Hon. Olakunle Eko; Barrister Bisi Ayeni; , Hon Mohammed Enas; Alhaja Fausat Kazeem; Hon. Dayo Bello; Hon. Akin Tiewei; Engr. Kolawole Olusegun;Hon. Adeolu Igbede Also at the meeting were several Party Leaders including Chief Lawrence Adenugba (Pari e) Barrister Kayode Arowosola; Comrade O. Akinlolu; Barrister Femi Omosuwa; Barrister Bola Awodola; Hon. Kunle Bada; Hon. Olakanmi Adesuyan; Elder Noah Akinfolarin; Hon. Adeolu Akinseyoju; Hon. Omoniyi Olowomuke; Hon. Sehinde Aduwo; Otunba Taiwo Adegoroye; Chief Oyinlola Olatunji; Pastor Olutosoye; Hon.Sade Aladenola; Mrs Olufowose; Hon. Tope Omolayo; Mrs Mary Bakare; Hon. Musa Kasali; Hon Olalekan Odere and former ;Ese-Odo APC Secretary, Dr Tob Loko among other party stalwarts from the eighteen Local Government Areas of Ondo State.
Amb Sola lji while welcoming the party leaders, commended their steadfastness and loyalty to the party for several years and underscored the need for them to work together as strategic leaders and stakeholders in the party.
Reacting, the party leaders applauded Ambassador Sola Iji for facilitating the meeting and resolved to work towards a common goal at the forthcoming governorship primary.
