President, Ilaje National Association of USA, Enigbokan mourns Akeredolu, says he was a consummate politician, condoles with the family of the deceased
The President of Ilaje National Association of USA, Prince Kayode Enigbokan, has mourned the late Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN, CON, saying he was a consummate politician and also condoled with the family of the deceased.
In a condolence message made available to Coastal Renaissance News, Prince Enigbokan noted that the former governor’s death came with a personal pain to him and the entire member of Ilaje National Association of USA “because he was a brilliant activist lawyer and solicitor.
According to him, “the late Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu not only sat eminently among politicians of note in the country, his contribution to security of life and prosperity of the people of Ondo State was very impressive.
“In legal profession, late Governor Akeredolu was second to none and first class material. We will miss him as our sunshine governor friend, but the country will miss him as a worthy citizen and national leader.”
“Our association pay tribute to this great leader who fought tirelessly for the security of his people and South West region of the country. With his courage, tenacity and persistence, he led our country towards democracy during a difficult time. He had incredible presence and influence; he made us understand that true leadership is not just about leading only those who agree with us or are like us. He taught us that the real test of our leadership comes when we have to work with those we do not like or those who do not always agree with us. He met, listened and engaged with people of all cultures and political arenas”.
