In a significant demonstration of corporate social responsibility and commitment to community development, Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited has undertaken the reconstruction of twelve (12) units of room-and-parlour self-contained residential apartments at the 19 Battalion Naqoura Barracks, Okitipupa, Ondo State. The project has reached an impressive 95 percent completion stage.
The intervention, executed by the Ondo State Operations of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited under the leadership of Snr. High Chief Idowu Asonja, is aimed at enhancing the welfare and living conditions of Nigerian Army personnel and their families stationed at the barracks.

Prior to the reconstruction, the housing units were in a severely dilapidated state, falling below acceptable living standards and posing safety and comfort concerns for occupants. Recognizing the importance of decent accommodation in boosting morale, productivity, and overall well-being, Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited initiated a comprehensive rebuilding of the apartments as part of its broader commitment to nation-building and sustainable community support.
The scope of work includes extensive structural rehabilitation, reinforced building works, improved roofing systems, installation of modern sanitary facilities, upgraded electrical fittings, enhanced ventilation, and general infrastructural upgrades designed to ensure durability, functionality, and comfort. Upon completion, the reconstructed apartments will provide a dignified and conducive living environment for personnel of the Nigerian Army serving at the 19 Battalion Naqoura Barracks.

Commenting on the project, the management of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited reaffirmed the company’s determination to extend its impact beyond its core security mandate by supporting institutions and communities that play critical roles in national security.
“This project reflects our deep appreciation for the sacrifices made by members of the Nigerian Armed Forces. Supporting their welfare through improved accommodation is one meaningful way we can contribute to their well-being and to the communities where we operate,” the company stated.
Under the close supervision of Senior High Chief Idowu Asonja, the Ondo State operations team ensured strict adherence to quality standards and timely execution. Chief Asonja emphasized that the initiative was motivated by a genuine desire to give back to society and to strengthen partnerships between Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, host communities, and security institutions.
“This is a selfless contribution to those who serve our nation. Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited remains steadfast in its commitment to sustainable development, peace, and collaborative efforts that uplift lives and institutions across Ondo State and Nigeria as a whole,” he noted.
With final finishing works currently underway, the project is expected to be completed and handed over in the coming days. The initiative has received widespread commendation from stakeholders within the barracks and the Okitipupa community, who have described it as timely, impactful, and a true reflection of responsible corporate citizenship.
Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited reaffirmed its resolve to continue implementing community-focused initiatives that reinforce its role not only as a leading security service provider but also as a trusted partner in national development and progress.
